Today apple released the stand-alone application for Mac OSx systems to let users with an iphone 4 facetime with a mac computer…FINALLY!  It works pretty well and the video quality is much better than programs like skype.  Download it here.  The program works by either calling a phone number or an email address, and you can add contacts to apples facetime for mac application by going into your “Address Book” application and then creating contacts or adding contacts.  Once you do that it automatically updates your facetime for mac application and you are ready to call!
